Jacques Selosse Initial Blanc de Blancs, Grands Crus d'Avize, Champagne
Jacques Selosse
The Domaine Jacques Selosse was founded in 1949 in the village of Avize, a Grand Cru area in Champagne. Anselme Selosse, the son of Jacques Selosse, took over the domaine in 1974 and has turned it into a rising star of Champagne.
Only 50,000 bottles of Domaine Jacques Selosse are produced each year from their 7.5 hectares of vineyards, which are spread across exceptional terroirs that Anselme Selosse has meticulously worked on, parcel by parcel.
The Chardonnay parcels are located in the Côte des Blancs, specifically in Avize, Cramant, Oger, and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, while the Pinot Noir parcels come from Montagne de Reims, including Aÿ, Ambonnay, and Mareuil-sur-Aÿ.
The quality of Selosse Champagnes is recognized by all major critics, and due to the limited production, their bottles are highly sought after all over the world.
