2008 "G-Max" Riesling trocken, Weingut Keller
The exceptionally rare G-Max Trocken represents Klaus-Peter Keller’s top selected parcel of estate-grown grapes, the identity of which is not disclosed and varies from year to year. The 2008 is a frighteningly good release with kaleidoscopically complex interplay between succulent stone fruits, floral perfume and salty, almost grippy, minerality. The level of energy, vibrancy and concentration is really rather remarkable. A class above.
