Robert Parker's Wine Advocate:
This Leoville Poyferre is much better than anticipated. An open-knit, wet earth rather herbaceous nose. The palate is fully mature, open, quite rustic but still vigorous. Good concentration with integrated tannins. Quite lean on the finish though. But still a fine example of a 1975.
