Falstaff:
Auf ein regnerisches Frühjahr folgte ein sehr heißer und trockener Juli, im August Temperaturen unter dem Durchschnitt, September dann wieder trocken und warm; Lesebeginn 18. September. Prä­sentiert sich mit funkelndem, dichtem ­Rubin-Granat. Saftige, reife Herzkirsche, feine Preiselbeernoten. Am Gaumen viel dichtes, zupackendes Tannin, baut sich in vielen Schichten auf, zeigt sich erst am Anfang seiner Entwicklung, sehr lange, ­im Finale nach Sauerkirsche.

Gilbert & Gaillard: 95/100
Ruby-red with garnet highlights. Concentrated nose driven by mint and fresh cherry with nites of spice and graphite. Incredibly precise, elegant and lingering palate supported by refined, extremely well-integrated tannins. Proof of Tuscan excellence.
