2011 Barolo "Tre Tine"DOCG, Piemont, Giuseppe Rinaldi

Wine Enthusiast:
Mature dark berry, cake spice, baked earth, leather and a whiff of game are just some of the aromas you'll find on this impressive wine. The chewy palate offers ripe black cherry, crushed raspberry, cinnamon, white pepper and aromatic herb alongside a backbone of firm, ripe tannins and racy acidity. Drink 2019–2031.

Falstaff:
Glänzendes Rubin-Granat, schimmert. Sehr klare und fein gezeichnete Nase mit ausgeprägten Noten nach Himbeere, eingelegtem Pfirsich und Granatapfel, im Hintergrund nach Koriandersamen. Rund und geschmeidig in Ansatz und Verlauf, scheint zunächst ein relativ einfacher, fruchtbetonter Wein zu sein, öffnet sich dann aber mit viel dichtmaschigem Tannin in feinen Schichten, saftig und salzig im Finale.
