2016
DOCG
Nose of leather and raspberry opened quickly to a interesting bouquet of cherry vanilla! Quite a surprise for so much French oak to be so dominant but made for a more interesting nose. The taste is expected full bodied, grippy and chewy tannins. Lots of blackberries and cherries with that vanilla coming through but not over dominating. Quite good. An interesting and enjoyable Barbaresco.
