Aged in French barriques for 18 months, the wine offers a generously elegant and balanced bouquet of ripe cherries, black berries and cassis along with some dried red berry and even floral and earthy aromas. Very fine and pure indeed. Dense and tight but refined, pure and very elegant on the palate, this is a full-bodied, vital red wine blend with fine tannins, intense dark fruit flavors and remarkably delicate acidity. The salty finish is tight and concentrated, very long and even fleshy.
