2016
6'er OHK / OWC
Grand Cru
2016 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru "Les Pucelles",
Domaine Leflaive
Wine Spectator:
A broad attack signals this rich, powerful white, revealing peach, apple pie and vanilla flavors, with a hint of coffee. Balanced and vibrant on the long finish, where a mineral accent chimes in.
Decanter:
The Pucelles takes a clear lead over Leflaive's other premiers crus this year, its lovely bouquet of apple, preserved lemon, crème pâtissière and white flowers introducing a racy, elegant and full-bodied wine with good concentration, intensity and energy. This is also the most reserved premier cru, and will reward bottle age. Drinking Window 2022 - 2035.
