Organically farmed vineyards. Bushvines. Manual harvest in boxes.
elaboration and aging
Native yeasts. Elaboration in small wooden tanks and gentle aging for 12 months in wooden foudres.
Soils:
Terrassed vineyard located at 550 to 725 meters asl above the Bibei river, on steep slopes facing west and northwest. The soils of granitic origin are shallow, acidic and coarse textured.
Vintage characteristics:
The 2017 vintage offers a different expression of O Diviso.
It is always a complex and accomplished wine, and so it is
in 2017. But we have this little extra of maturity after such
a warm year with unusually high temperatures during the summer. Still, the vineyard’s high altitude at around 700 meters and its northern orientation give O Diviso a breath of freshness and delicacy, even in vintages like this. bottles produced : 1'170
